Sekayi’s professional background is in IT management consulting and digital banking transformation projects with big banks including Deutsche Bank, Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays and the establishment of an innovation lab at HSBC connecting fintechs and big techs into the bank to create new business models, and tech opportunities for new products and markets. She has also dabbled in DeFi leading a fundraise for an exchange and contributing to DAOs.

Sekayi has been angel investing and mentoring startups for a decade through accelerators, including: Accenture Fintech Innovation Lab, R3 Ventures, Outlier Ventures and Abu Dhabi SME Hub.

She’s a board member for UK SMEs through Be the Business, a UK county funding SME scale ups to drive growth, various fintech and emerging tech startups and the London Intercultural Centre promoting culture, events, education and a private members club.

She is a co-founder building an investment ecosystem in stealth in Dubai and aspiring emerging fund manager.
