Sim Tze Jye

Mr. Sim, a Malaysian, is the Managing Director and major shareholder of GCM. Prior to this, he has been serving with various financial institutions such as HSBC, Citibank, Standard Chartered Bank and Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ. Within the 16 years of service in the banking industry, he covered a full spectrum of trade finance and cash solutions catering to a portfolio of blue-chip companies and global trading houses. Mr. Sim is also the co-founder of Perfect Hexagon Limited, a well-established commodities trading company based in Hong Kong, which has a strong regional presence in Asia and network offices in London and South America and was appointed as it’s Managing Director in 2015.

Mr. Sim is the co-founder of GCM and has been with the company since its inception in 2021.
