Oliver Studd
Oliver is the Founder of Valhalla Network, an innovative hybrid solution bridging the gap between traditional finance and DeFi. Oliver has led strategy and formation of foundation and subsidiary entities, boards, and legal frameworks (including statutes, bylaws, articles of association, tokenomics and architecture of the DAO, and governance). Oliver has presented at several high-profile events, including Future Blockchain Summit, Istanbul Fintech Week, and UK House of Lords, and has secured 1st place in three consecutive pitch competitions in London, Munich, and Lisbon.
Before founding Valhalla Network, Oliver became Director of Local First CIC, engaging with UK local authorities and producing thorough analyse and business cases for community banks. This included the formulation and presentation of a full bank financial model and business plan. Oliver helped represent the majority shareholder of Hampshire Community Bnk Ltd in his role as Director of Local First as well as Trustee of HCB Foundation.
Prior to Local First, Oliver acted as banking consultant to Hampshire Community Bank, where he gained extensive regulatory experience including the formulation of all documentation, implementation of regulator feedback, and advising both Bank Board and Holding Board.
Before Hampshire Community Bank, Oliver worked as an analyst at HSBC UK. Oliver holds an MSc in International Banking and Finance & a BSc in Chemistry.
