David C. Traub, Ed.M
David has enjoyed 40 years of international experience as an ESG/SDG-aligned technology, media and economic development-focused entrepreneur, investor and venture catalyst. He has advised numerous global startups, institutions, NGOs, multi-nationals and government entities. In the process, he has raised money for tens of projects and enjoyed multiple IPO campaigns and successful exits (his first venture was DSR, Microsoft’s first acquisition). David is also a philanthropist, keynote speaker, and as an Ed.M. and inventor of 19-Questions.com, a lifelong educator and career coach. Finally, David continues to build his potential for social impact as an award-winning executive producer.
David’s most recent social impact feature films to screen were Cannes Award Winner Sweetwater (2023)(Finance), Bronx Bull (2017)(Co-Producer) and Jobs (2014)(Executive Producer), with Billy Preston/Beatles biopic Circles most likely his next movie to enter production (Producer). David’s first major feature film was The Lawnmower Man (1992)(virtual reality consultant and producer of display graphics). David’s also produced psychologically oriented social impact games in the 1990’s, including Promised Land (Queensryche, 1996); and On the Road with BB King, awarded “Best Interactive Music CD Game, 1996. He has also produced multiple benefit concerts and social impact events/activities during successful UN General Assemblies (2018-2020).
David earned his master’s in education from Harvard University in 1990 with a focus on optimizing and delivering mental health and derivative economic development via immersive entertainment interfaces and media, while conducting simultaneous AI- and VR-centric classwork at the MIT Media Lab and Harvard’s Business School. In 1984 he earned his undergraduate degrees in rhetoric & film with honors from UC Berkeley.
